Cookie Policy

A plain-English run-down of what each cookie does and how you can manage your preferences.

Effective date: 1 February 2025.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small piece of text a website asks your browser to store. It might remember a preference you set, keep you signed in, or help us understand which pages visitors find most useful. Some cookies last only until you close the browser; others remain for weeks or months.

Cookies we set on this site

Strictly necessary

A small set of cookies is required for the site to work — for example, the session cookie that protects your form submission from cross-site request forgery, and a flag remembering whether you've answered our cookie banner. These cannot be switched off.

Functional

We use one local-storage key, pristine_edge_consent, to remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. This is set by your choice in the banner and stays on your device for twelve months.

Analytics

At the time of writing we do not run third-party analytics on this domain. If we add basic, anonymised analytics in future, this section will be updated and the banner will request fresh consent before any analytics cookies are set.

Advertising

We do not run advertising trackers or remarketing pixels on this site.

Managing your preferences

Click the cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. You can also clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings; the next visit will treat you as a new visitor and ask for consent again.

Updates

If we add new categories of cookies we'll update this page and bring the consent banner back so you can review your preferences.
